The pipe is more of a prop, because after finding out that his creations are scared of fire, he quit smoking altogether. But he still keeps putting it in his mouth, since, you know, old habits die hard.  
Despite his tough exterior, he's a caring creator. He just doesn't like people in general.


Guertena always intrigued me as a character and it's sad Kouri covered no details about him. 


I'm not satisfied with the linart, but I don't own a tablet, so making it look natural is one hell of a problem.

Also, the angler fish from the 'Abyss of the Deep' painting...
